RESTROOM DEEP SANITIZING

The deep sanitizing and thorough cleaning method of a restroom is an eight-step process, utilizing five different cleaning solutions that sanitize every square inch of the surfaces.

1. Pre-soak and hand scrub the sink, porcelain fixtures (especially inner rims and undersides) and chrome piping/metal fixtures with proper cleaning solutions.
2. Blow off and wipe down all ceiling fixtures (including lighting and vent), so that fixtures are free of all grease, dust and foreign matter.
3. Apply degreaser solution to all tiled areas (floors and walls) and use grout and tile brushes to remove all grease, dirt, mold and foreign matter. Focus especially on the mop line where the wall and floor meet, floor grout lines and caked water residue under hand towel areas.
4. Wash down scrubbed areas with clear water, and power vacuum all residue.
5. Apply sanitizing and disinfectant solutions and detail all porcelain fixtures and metal work, mirror, sink, ceiling light fixtures, partitions, entry door (especially metal work), all stainless steel containers, emergency lighting fixtures and wall hangings.
   Wipe down tiled walls from ceiling to floor.
6. Scrub and sanitize baby stations, wipe down door and frame and use cleaner/polish on metalwork.
7. Inspect all areas and fixtures to make sure the surfaces are "hospital grade" clean.
8. Apply an enzyme liquid to the drain and corners to combat build-up of mold, gasses and odors.
